About A Walk with Britt

A Walk With Britt was founded in loving memory of Brittany McIver, a beautiful soul whose life continues to inspire hope and healing. Created by Founder and Executive Director Eboni Phidd, this organization was born from deep pain transformed into purpose. What began as a promise to bring awareness to mental health has grown into a powerful movement of compassion, community, and faith.

We believe no one should suffer in silence. Every program, every event, and every act of service is driven by that belief. A Walk With Britt brings conversations about mental health into schools, workplaces, and communities so that individuals can find the support, understanding, and strength they deserve. We provide education, resources, and outreach that remind people they are not alone and that healing is possible.

Our work comes to life through meaningful initiatives like Bundled Blessings, providing warmth and essentials to those in need during the cold months, and No One Left Hungry, ensuring families have food and hope during the holidays. Our Art of Mental Wellness gatherings create a safe and creative space for self-expression and healing. Through partnerships with LSU Athletics, local businesses, and community members, we raise funds that directly support mental health programs across Louisiana and North Carolina.

Our impact is growing, and our vision is bold. We are working toward opening a Youth Mental Health Center in Sanford, North Carolina, a safe space where young people can find guidance, support, and peace. We are expanding our reach to provide more trainings, school programs, and community events that bring awareness and change where it’s needed most.

When you give to A Walk With Britt, you help transform lives. Your support allows us to reach more students, help more families, and continue walking in faith for those who cannot yet walk for themselves. Together, we are building a world where conversations about mental health are filled with compassion instead of silence.

Join us. Stand with us. Give hope.
Together, we walk for healing. We walk for hope. We walk for Britt.
